New review and request for thoughts...

In other news, I've been asked to write a short piece on my favorite lesbian protagonists (fictional, as in the written kind) for webzine Kissed by Venus so I'm gathering my thoughts and a not inconsiderable amount of books. So far, the list is (I won't be using any author more than once and am not limiting by genre):
In other news, I've been asked to write a short piece on my favorite lesbian protagonists (fictional, as in the written kind) for webzine Kissed by Venus so I'm gathering my thoughts and a not inconsiderable amount of books. So far, the list is (I won't be using any author more than once and am not limiting by genre):
- Trouble, from Trouble and Her Friends by Melissa Scott. Makes my little cybergeeky heart go pitterpat.
- Ash, from Dancing Jack by Laurie Marks. I know, I know, everyone loves the Logic books, but I really love this quirky early fantasy of hers.
- Catriona MacEochan, from The Fires of Bride by Ellen Galford. One of those authors who I desperately wish was still writing/being published.
- Lore, from Slow River by Nicola Griffith.
- The unnamed narrator, from After Delores by Sarah Schulman. The ultimate East Village in the late 80s novel, with a protag that suits the neighborhood.
- Ellen, from Temporary Agency by Rachel Pollack. Which may be more about loving TA but I wanted to include something by her.
