First and foremost, day jobbery changes from contract to FTE on Monday. We'll see how this goes. I think the adjustment may be a tad rocky but I'm trying to keep an open mind. We'll see how it goes.

And today, my entire oeuvre for less than $30.00 on Kindle (Hellebore and Rue is also available on Kindle) - Amazon's
Catherine Lundoff Page. Crave and Haunted Hearths are both on sale for $.99. But for $29 and change, you can also get 2 Goldie Award winners, 2 Lesbian Fiction Reader's Choice Winners, 1 Rainbow Award winner and a Spectrum Award winner. Just saying.

We spent yesterday taking a quick road trip to Northfield. Jana's teaching papermaking at Carleton College this semester, and if you're in the area on Thursday, Jan. 10th, there will be  an art opening for her binding exhibit at 5PM in the Boilou Gallery on campus. It is, of course, spectacular. :-D
Jana needed to do some processing of paper pulp so I write while she did that. New works are moving along and I'm excited about where the novels in progress are going. And there was some clothes shopping and a trip to an art store where I got a keychain Totoro. Because who doesn't need a keychain Totoro?

In other news, author Rachel Gold and I are plotting a thing. More new
s when I've got it. Now to go finish a guest blog post, then writing, then errands.

Have so far managed an hour of yardwork and finished 2 books, Wounds of Passion by bell hooks and Steampunk, the anthology edited by Kelly Link and Gavin Grant. Liked both and posted about them on Goodreads. Then there was kitty quality time, in lieu of writing. Today, there's some follow-up on sundry things: confirming my WisCon schedule, buying tix for Theater Unbound's Julius Caesar and tonight's one-woman show of Dracula at the Black Forest Inn, and hunting down another review site that might go for SIlver Moon. Speaking of which, I've added an author interview stopoff at author Tracy Morris' blog (link in the Where I'll be in 2012 post) for early May.

The tally thus far for scheduled Silver Moon publicity for May and June: 1 author interview, 2 podcasts, 4 readings, 2 conferences (
GCLS and WisCon, plus a Goodreads book giveaway, 2 werewolf book blog reviews requested (they both said yes), 5 review sites contacted thus far (4 out of 5 said yes - waiting on the 5th), one radio show contacted (haven't heard back yet) and one guest blog requested (haven't heard back yet). Just found another book review site that looks promising so contacting them today. And this is, of course, does not include venues where Lethe Press is sending my book (another 6 or 7, I believe). Nor does it include last month's lesbian werewolf podcast or this month's Out in Print interview.

Meanwhile, my day job is starting to look like one of those English manor house mysteries in which dinner guests keep disappearing and everyone else tries to keep a stiff upper lip. Layoffs are falling thick and fast, which is not fun. And I've hurt my foot in some new and unspecified way. But that will not stop me from going to Dracula tonight or going to lunch with a friend tomorrow. It will, however, once more put a dent in shoe-shopping, already massively delayed by the plantar's fascitis problem. Sigh. Off to go run errands and perhaps do some writing. And cleaning. Oh, yes, and making lemon curd. I need another me.
