Too bad you don't live where I live - I know some excellent seamstresses/seamsters. If you know people in the local theater scene, they might know.

The Sew What chain of stores has always done pretty well for me. Depends on what you mean by "gigantic". They don't often turn things around in 1 day, but they are good at meeting their dates.

Well, considering that that the last time, I asked I was told that the person in question had a 3 month waiting list, I'd say anything under a month is a win. :-)

I generally go to the one on Grand (and Fairview, I think it is). I took them a bridesmaid's dress and leather pants, and they handled them both without trouble.

Things are pretty good. Crazy, but good. Trying to fit a lot of work on our house into a short time frame. (Congrats on your upcoming excitement, BTW!!)
