The week's been something of a mixed bag. Some high points:
Last night's interview on The Amazing League of Paranormal Women blogtalk show was a blast (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/League_of_Extraordinary_Paranormal_Women). I'm still listed as the author rather than the editor of Hearths but apart from that, all good fun.

Night's Kiss just showed up today. I'm hugging it in a manner normally reserved for my stuffed Cthulhu. it is lovely, lovely, lovely! Toby Johnson at Lethe has done another terrific job. :-D

And finally, I'm dealing with work uncertainties by doing responsible things. And buying the coolest woman pirate earrings I've seen outside of Elise's workshop. I love these with an unnatural passion - note the Jolly Roger on the ship - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19895541


Now back to looking at tax estimates to cut down on an April "surprise"

I actually heard your voice on that radio show. For some reason, I couldn't tune in on the computer, so phoned long-distance in the middle of the interview. I was tempted to chime in, but wasn't sure if this would be appreciated, PLUS too much was going on at my end - Partner & I had to rush off to a meeting from hell. I heard your explanation of stories involving 19th-century feminists, the ghost of the ex-girlfriend, Ka Vang's story and Sacchi Green's evil Mormon ghost. I hope such interviews boost sales, besides being interesting in their own right - not sure it matters that much that you are listed as "author" rather than "editor," since anyone who sees the book can figure it out.

Thanks for checking it out in any case. It will actually play if you select the arrow key in the large circular icon but I'm told by friends who caught the whole show that some of the earlier sections seemed pretty disjointed. People were responding via a chat but I didn't get into that part until the show was over.
