Diversicon was okay but I came home with the ghastly cold that's been going around at work. If I ran into you at the con and didn't say hi, I apologize. Turns out I was feverish for much of it, not going out of my way to be a jerk. :-(
Convention high points (or at least the ones that sank in): the Octavia Butler panel with Andrea Hairston, David Levy and Shannon Gibney. It was I think, a well-done and respectful memorial with many interesting and thought-provoking things said.
Bryan Worra's poetry performance. :-)
Lady Poetesses from Hell, as always. Any reading that includes "The Saga of Red Ethel the Unruly" is all good.
The romance panel had its high points and best of all, I didn't come from the auction with bunches of weird things (by my standards). I am really looking forward to the collection of Worst Regencies Ever that I acquired. Post deadline winter reading. With bonbons even.
Other than that, am still plugging away at many differerent stories and the remaining article. Hoping to have a few more completions by the end of the week. The 10 hour workdays last Monday and Tuesday dented me a bit.
