Upcoming cabaret night at Patrick's
Nov. 12th, 2008 09:18 pmSo Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6th respectively, I'll be reading at Patrick's Cabaret.
Show starts at 8PM, tickets are $10 at the door or $8.00 if you get them from me. I would be overjoyed to sell them to you. Just saying.
I'm pretty excited about being at Patrick's; it's one of the places I've wanted to read since I moved here but wasn't sure my reading performance skills were up to it. Patrick's is pretty prestigious but practice makes perfect, we hope and I'm on my tenth reading for 2008.
I'm planning on reading from "Spoonbridge and Cherry," my Minneapple smut story from Crave. If I'm lucky, maybe the Italian version will show up that week. :-)
Here's the details -
Patrick's is at 3010 Minnehaha Ave in Minneapolis
Featuring:
Home But Not Home, a story told by Andre Heuer
Lesbian Erotica by Catherine Lundoff
Stand up Comedian Tom Steffen
Singer/Songwriter Raphael
Original spoken word poetry and music performed by Rush Merchant III
"She’s Going to Heal: Mental Illness in an American Family" by Alison Bergblom Johnson

Come on down and check it out.
