Update - the wool just went to a swell human being who'll use it to make blankets and clothes for refugees in Afghanistan in addition to supporting marriage rights. My weekend is made. :-D

livelongnmarry. This is some very nice stuff that I've accumulated but haven't gotten around to using. I'm quite tactile so it's lovely soft natural fiber. And for a good cause. :-)
It dawned on me last night at CONvergence when I looked out on a room full of expectant faces staring at us over the constant click of needles.
And the panel went far better than we had any reason to expect what with no preparation and all. Apparently Rebecca and I free-associating through goofy genre conventions (methane breathers! Transporters! Evil Fay with neither economy or culture of any kind! Horses that never need to eat or rest!) are pretty entertaining. Lots of audience participation and a decently good time all around. Hit a few parties, talked to some friends and am now home taking a much needed day off. Tomorrow, back to the con. I'm doing a Broad Universe reading and a panel on CLAMP, followed by another panel on ghost stories on Sunday. Come on by and say hi!
