I'm going to borrow this clever idea from http://upstart-crow.livejournal.com/ and start putting all my current acceptances and publications in here, just for the sake of organizational wackiness.

My story "The Changing Room" (het erotica, for something more or less completely different for me) just got accepted for "Caught Looking: Erotic Tales of Voyeurs and Exhibitionists," edited by Alison Tyler and Rachel Kramer Bussel (Cleis Press, sometime in late 2006). Huzzah!

My story "Viva las Vegas" is going to be reprinted in "Best New Erotica 6," edited by Maxim Jakubowski (published by Constable or Carroll and Graf, depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on), and due out later on this year. This is my Elvis drag king story that originally ran in Marilyn Jaye Lewis' "Stirring Up a Storm" and in my own collection, "Night's Kiss" (Torquere Press). Very, very pleased. :-)))))

That would be the current one, "Night's Kiss" as opposed to the forthcoming one which is inching closer to progress each day. And yes, it is very positive. I'm really happy about it, a mood enhanced by the fact that I didn't think CS would take an ebook for review. But I'm very glad they did!
You can read it at
http://www.cleansheets.com/coverstories/book_09.20.06.shtml
or at one of the other places the fabulous and wonderful Jean Roberta has managed to get it posted. She's managing to get a short version and a long version into everything from the Erotic Author's Association website (http://www.eroticauthorsassociation.com/html/reviews.htm) to the Saskatchewan lesbian newsletter, a publication with the marvelous title of "Sensible Shoes." Jean is a excellent writer as well as a reviewer, with stories in various volumes of Best Lesbian and Best Women's erotica and ongoing columns in various leather publications like The Dominant's View.

New!

Yippee! Just found out that my story "Reunion at St. Mary's" was accepted for "Tough Girls 2," edited by the lovely and talented Lori Selke and due out sometime next year (I think) from Haworth Press.

I think this makes my 41st fiction acceptance (not including the nonreprints in my collections) as well as being a lovely way to psych up for my reading tonight at DreamHaven. :-)))

Huzzah! More leather smut!

Came home from a trying day in the outside world to discover that Tristan Taormino wants to reprint my story "An Incident in Whitechapel" in "Best Lesbian Bondage Erotica" (Cleis Press, forthcoming 2007). I am very pleased, especially since "Whitechapel" is my completely weird knifeplay, genderplay Jack the Ripper (stalking him, not sleeping with him) story that I used to fear might never see the light of day.
This one also appeared in "Best Lesbian Erotica 2005" as well as my collection "Night's Kiss." Happy, happy!
