So I'm doing a couple of things at Sexy Spring in mid June (http://sexyspring.org/). One of those things is a workshop which I think I can cobble together around the two books I have to blurb, a trip to WisCon, the release party, the current day job wackiness and 2 story deadlines. I'll sleep when I'm dead, after all.

The other thing is a reading at the cabaret. Okay, I figured, how bad can it be? Come to find out I'll be performing before or after Venus. That would Venus of All the Pretty Horses. http://cdbaby.name/v/e/venusrock.jpg
Oh shit. I do not have the clothes, the attitude or the performance chops for this. And I'm planning on being fully clothed the whole time I'm on stage, which is likely to be a novelty.
Yet I'm doing it anyway. C'mon down. Venus will be awesome and you can watch me freak out before and after, but hopefully not during. :-)
