And lots of it.
Accomplishments of the day:
1. Just turned in copyedited galleys of Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades - five days and a fair amount of arm pain (mine) after getting them. The book is going to be gorgeous - the fonts and the design are quite spectacular. And it is hopefully nearly typo free. :-)
2. Got an online store specializing in lesbian lit to pick up Crave and when it's available, Haunted Hearths. Then they wowed me by buying 25(!) copies of Crave . C. does happy dance for small press victory! (StarCrossed Productions - http://www.scp-inc.biz/).
3. Am added to guest list for CONvergence (http://www.convergence-con.org/). Always nice to have one's labors appreciated. :-)
4. Started contemplating my proposed erotica writing workshop for Sexy Spring V (http://www.myspace.com/sexyspring). I'm also performing at the cabaret. Should be a nice, full weekend.
5. Got my contrib copy of Dirty Girls, edited by the always fabulous Rachel Kramer Bussel, today. DG is out from Seal Press and includes my story "Just Another Girl on the Train," along with stories by Donna George Storey, Carol Queen, Sage Vivant, Marilyn Jaye Lewis and a bunch of other women you should be reading. :-)

6. And just to balance the cool, fun parts, found out in a meeting today at the day job that tomorrow, I'm likely to be blamed for the project being "offtrack. " It is, of course, not offtrack. It is speeding over a cliff. But it should make for an exciting afternoon. Sigh.

Yay for the cool, fun parts!

And thanks for the interesting info about StarCrossed Productions. I'd heard of them, but had assumed that only publishers could deal with them, not authors and editors. Must check.

Technically, I suspect that is true. But you know me. Not above either groveling or posturing as needed. In this case, I just pointed out that since I was up for a Goldie and they're the main vendor at the GLCS, it would be very, very cool if they were selling my book. They allowed as it was so. :-)
I know Steve has been trying to establish a dialogue with them so you may want to check with him. We talked it over before I approached them.

Wow. Double-Wow. And wow some more.

Go U!

I am attempting once more to drive to Georgia,
and finish some more stories, and write about
a song a week for my strange and various bands.

The *BLEEP* song should be on FUMP shortly, unless
it is deemed too dirty.

Good luck at work. I feel like I'm herding lemmings
or lemons, or something these days. Between trying
to stay awake at meetings.

You are herding lemmings! And lemons! Nasty little red ones with bulleyes on them. Let's hear it for genetically modified crops! :-)
Sorry, long, long, long day. Very fried.
Thanks for the congrats and have a safe trip to Ga. Hope recording goes well!
