My first book club performance

I got invited to the local kink book club to discuss "Crave" this morning. And eat a tasty brunch, as an added bonus.
I had a lovely time! Everyone was quite pleasant. I've never gotten to see that many copies of my book in the hands of people who'd actually read it already, so that was very exciting. They'd actually put some thought into their comments, which was also quite flattering. Among other things, I apparently need to write more and longer stories, and should do more BDSM work again. They said extremely nice things about the variety and the humor and invited me back to both hang out and talk about more of my work. :-D
I haven't done that much erotic writing since I finished "Crave" since I've been looking to try new things. Well, that and I frankly burned myself out. But I'm definitely motivated to try and get "Night's Kiss" back in print. Fingers crossed that "Crave" makes the Lambda finalist list since that will make that much easier.

More and longer stories sounds like a good request, esp. since you write so much spec-fic, but the current trend in fiction in general seems to be to drastically limit scene-setting, backstory or world-building so as get on with the action. I would like to see some of your worlds in more detail, and I bet I'm not the only one.
