Or maybe more Big News? There's been a lot. But let me sum up:
  • This week's big adventure is that I have accepted an invite to be the Author Guest of Honor at Marscon 2022 (Minneapolis, not Williamsburg). March 11-13 at the Minneapolis Hilton, in person, barring new information. We have, I think, hashed out the needful discussion on how that will all work and I'm looking forward to returning to a local convention that I have enjoyed a lot in the past.
  • I have made my "in game" appearance! My story "A Cry in the Night" is a scenario in the new World of Darkness: Ghost Hunters, which I'm pretty excited about.
  • And Queen of Swords Press has a new title out! Local author Jennie Goloboy sent me a hilarious science fiction novel last year called Obviously, Aliens about a commercial artist named Dana who makes model Doges (like the meme) and her misadventures with a gay hit man/professional burglar named Adam who's in love with his boyfriend, Jay, whose essence Dana inadvertently drank in an old can of soda in a rental car...and then there are the aliens and the talking corgies and more. Obviously, Aliens is the official launch of our Northland Speculations line of SF/F/H by Upper Midwestern authors. Good stuff!
  • Otherwise, I've taught a couple of classes, done a whole bunch of events, done some writing, worked on press stuff, wrangled day job and started the big round of tasks for the Fall (gutters, getting the rugs cleaned and the furnace tuned, etc.) and all the other tasks that have been pending while I've been out of work. Now, back to the grindstone. Will try for more regular updates.
