ConZealand, book sales and such
Feb. 9th, 2020 08:26 pmSo I registered for Worldcon in New Zealand because Queen of Swords Press will be publishing New Zealand's two-time Sir Julius Vogel Award winner, A.J. Fitzwater, in April and because I love New Zealand (and often, Worldcon). Then I got laid off. But it was still a possibility as long as I got a new job within a 2 month window. Then it wasn't a possibility because of various expenses for healthcare and the house and so forth. Well, it's back to being a possibility, if a slim one. If I can raise some extra funds in the next few weeks, I *think* it's doable. But I need some help doing that.
- Consider buying one or more of our titles. We have Goldie Award finalist Silver Moon, Colorado Book Award Finalist Murder on the Titania and Over the Rainbow List anthology Scourge of the Seas of Time (and Space). Medusa's Touch is on sale this week on all platforms for Valentine's Day. Murder and Wireless were just called "the best thing to have happened in recent steampunk literature." by Never Was Magazine.
- Our books are available through indie bookstores like DreamHaven, The Irreverent Bookworm, Cream & Amber, A Room of One's Own, Charis Books and through Indie Bound. I'll also be tabling at 13 Gears Steampunk in Minneapolis next weekend, if you'd like to buy something in person.
- We have a Patreon, where you can win books, read a novel in progress by me and get occasional random gifts, like handmade Christmas ornaments.
- We have a Ko-fi, if you feel inclined to kick in a one time donation.
- You can request our books at your local library; they can get print through IngramSpark and ebook through Overdrive.
