I gave a talk on the several years of planning and start up that has gone into Queen of Swords Press a few weeks ago at DreamHaven Books in Minneapolis. Local author Conrad Zero was amiable enough to provide his time to record and edit and thus we have a video of my talk available here. I promised a short resource list as well and will post that in a few days as I get caught back up. Many thanks to Conrad, DreamHaven and the many nice people who attended!

On a related note, I'm thinking of pulling together a basic class, probably online, on publishing a book in ebook and print. Nothing super fancy, just the steps I follow for demystification purposes. Cost would be pretty low. Anyone have thoughts about things they'd like to know more about in terms of physically publishing a book?

Apart from that, recovery from the Great Norovirus Holiday Disaster of 2017 continues apace. I'm crawling back upward on energy level and beginning to remember that I like eating occasionally so that's all good. I'm trying to get writing back on track with a couple of new stories and some work on Blood Moon. More regular updates coming soon!

EDITED: I finally got the resource list added!

Ooo, I'm going to go listen to that now!

Physically publishing? So not, like, writing cover copy? Hmm.

I am currently pondering the intricacies of cover design.

A friend of a friend recently reached out to me to see if I knew how to embed snippets of audio in a Kindle (children's) ebook. That was interesting.
