Reading update for Nov. 16th

So a few months back at CONvergence, I met an amiable costumer who'd just moved to town and recently sold her first erotic romance story. We chatted and exchanged info and made nice and it was all very pleasant. And somewhere along the line, she said, "Hey, we should do a reading when my story comes out."
And I, in the midst of planning for 2 out of town readings and another convention or two, not to mention anthology calls and day job crap, nodded and smiled and allowed as I had no time to breathe. She assured me that she'd take care of it. Fast forward through a few months of emailing back and forth, venues falling through, people getting added and so forth, to today.
Holy crap. Not really sure how this all came about but here's where we're reading -

We're gathering at 7PM in the rooftop lounge of the Chambers Hotel for the "cocktail hour," cocktail attire acquired. Then going off to read in one of the conference rooms.
Do I know from cocktail attire? Not so much, seeing as I'm elderly Straight Edge and gave up drinking ages ago. I do have some fancy duds though, so I guess I'm breaking them out.
Friday, Nov. 16th at 7PM. A once in a lifetime (mine, anyway) event featuring Eve Cain, me and a couple of erotic poets reading quality smut at a luxury hotel in the downtown Minneapple. 901 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis.
I'll post a reminder closer to the day. For now, I'm off to go gibber at the dust bunnies.
