I'm off to the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN for Wolf Trek, an ecotourism event - lots of educational talks and videos about wolves, meeting the "Ambassador Pack" (from outside their space), on the ground and behind the scenes educational stuff, more wolves. Then on Sunday, bonus bears! We're doing a trip to the North America Bear Center, also in Ely. After we learn about bears, it's off to Betty's Pies in Two Harbors (a state landmark of sorts), then home. Fall colors, cool-sounding trip, wolves and bears, and some work to edit - I'm SO looking forward to this!
