- First of all, Stina Lecht's Feminist Monday posts are always worth a read.
- Author Juliet McKenna, also awesome
- And, of course, Radish Reviews
If you're in the Twin Cities this month, I recommend:
LUNAFEST - Short Films by Women. Tuesday, April 15th, Edina Cinema
Aliveness Project's Dine Out for Life - 4/24. Help folks living with HIV/AIDS. They're looking for volunteers to be restaurant ambassadors this year, too.
Theatre Unbound's Silkworms - opens 4/26. You know those "delightful" statistics about women in literary fiction/sf reviews/Congress/etc.? Like that for live theater, too. Theater Unbound puts on a lot of terrific shows by and about women and is wildly underrated as a result. If you're tired of the pablum to be found at some of the bigger theaters in town, check them out.
MN Honey Company - just what it says. Products from our local beekeepers.
