Baby, it's cold outside...

At the moment, a balmy -28F with windchill. It was much colder this morning. The worst of it (bearing in mind that I live and work inside and have heat) has been the epic air pressure drops which have gone right through my sinuses. I've had two migraines this weekend - the first on Friday, caused me to leave work early to go home and try and ice my head until it went away and the second on yesterday, which was the worst I've had in about a decade, complete with vomiting and being unable to sit up. The cats loved the part where I had to lie still on the bed for hours on a bunch of ice packs, so at least someone was happy. The bad part was that I lost a lot of work time. And, oh yeah, the pain, etc. So, soldiering on this week. I've two guest blogs posts that I need to turn in before Arisia and it would be really, really nice if I could get this full draft of the SF novel done. not to mention getting my office cleaned up and my new bookcase situated. Girding my loins, making bad Arctic explorer jokes and all that in the meantime.

In other news, the annual Con or Bust Auction is opening soon. It's always a most excellent event and it raises money for a good cause.
