catherineldfVery intrigued by this - new analysis suggests that the "Dark Lady," Amelia Lanier, who was a highly educated Jewish poet, may have written some/all of the plays attributed to Shakespeare

I wrote an alternate history story of sorts a few years back called "Great Reckonings, Little Rooms," which posited that the plays (after the first two), were written in collaboration by Christipher Marlowe and Will's twin sister, Judith Shakespeare. Judith was living in London, passing as a man and was the lover of Amelia Lanier (published in "Time Well Bent," and in my collection "A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories"). Maybe I'm due for a new version, this one about Amelia.
