catherineldfHow I'm spending my time before Diversicon and my 8/1 reading (http://www.diversicon.org/).
Answer: it's been lively.
We've finished refinancing the house (finally).
2 possible apartments opened up for Mom.
I reserved one plus the movers.
My amazing friend Sheila agreed to sacrifice some of her vacation time to help me pack and clean Mom's apartment.
Cat and house sitter is scheduled.
Have plane tix and hotel reservations.
Got my novel proposal back from my beta, realized it needs more work than I hoped and contacted the requesting editor. She was super pleased that I followed up and let her know I'd be a bit later than hoped (protip, BTW).
Picked 4 stories and a novel excerpt to read between Thursday night and Saturday's readings.
Next up, more edits and P&P at the Guthrie tomorrow. Why? Because half- price tix. No great expectations but hoping it will be somewhat fun.
Now back to the grind.
