How am I dealing it with it? By going to see F&F 6 tonight with a friend who broke his wrist 2 days before his birthday earlier this week. I do have a birthday prize of awesomeness for him, so hopefully it and the movie silliness help. Then working like mad this weekend, as my low blood sugar and multiple trips to the bathroom permit. I know, you're tots jealous. Like who wouldn't be?
- recovery from WisCon
- Trying (unsuccessfully, so far) to deal with my mom's deteriorating health and the need to get her moved from NYC to the lovely Midwest. Thus far, nowhere to put her (unless I hear different from the chosen assisted living facility that is so far not returning my calls) and no way to get her packed up and out here except through massive manual intervention, which our schedules make nightmarish/near impossible to plan for. In a word, FUN! :-(((
- colonoscopy prep on the horizon for Monday's procedure. In two words: more FUN!
- 2 books to blurb/review, 1 story to finish, 1 story to assess for rewrite, 2 novels I should make a lot more progress on, guest blog to come up with for an A game type site that has asked me back twice already (and I'd like to keep that trend continuing).
- horrible things happening to people I know, which I'm deeply sorry for/angry about and wish I could fix/prevent
- interestingly vague but highly promising email exchange (I'm waiting on a response and it's nothing I can talk about yet)
