Sunday update

catherineldfBeen a full week, what between overtime and the MN House voting for samesex marriage in MN (Senate votes on Monday - fingers crossed). And of course, the Bisexual Book Awards (I'm a finalist!), and unsurprisingly, health crud and a Mom-crisis (averted, for now).
The weekend has made up for it. Friday night was a leisurely evening at home. Saturday included a trip to go get a new spinning composter and an adapter for one of the gutters so we can set up the rain barrel, plus other odds and ends. We had friends over on Saturday night for dinner and the first couple of episodes of "Lost Girl." LG''s got some potential but man, did they skimp on the writing. We liked the characters despite the hackneyed dialogue and familiar plot lines though, and I bought both seasons (used) so we'll get to to see the great improvement that we're told is coming. Today has been about writing and walls around one of the lakes and making soy milk in my new Soya Joy 4. Feeling almost ready to face another week.
