With a couple of books I meant to mention but didn't get around to:
 Christopher Barzak's One for Sorrow
Palimpsest by Catherynne Valente
Last Car to Annwn Station by Michael Merriam
Melissa Scott - The Jazz, Empress of Earth
Plus this reading list that includes some things I've heard of but haven't read or seen.

Pop Culture:
Susan Ivanova from Babylon 5

Cons:
Outlantacon

What other books/stories/comics, etc. would you recommend to others looking to read about more bi protagonists (see previous post first, please)?

Melissa Scott:
- the female protag of The Jazz is, IIRC, pretty clearly bi
- her Silence Leigh books, where the female protag triad-marries two men who are in a relationship

Have just been reminded by a reviewer in Locus: most of the people in Melissa Scott and Lisa Barnett's Pointsman world are just sorta culturally bisexual. Our protags appear mostly gay onscreen, but I'm pretty sure Eslingen has interest in women (and possibly history with them? gah, need to reread the whole thing).

So, potentially, Point of Dreams and Point of Hopes by both of them, and Point of Knives by Melissa, could, I think, all go into this.
