Bizarre moments of serendipity...

so this other contracting co. in town that's been hot for my brains for the last year or so calls up Wednesday afternoon and says they can get me an interview Thursday morning. I make polite yet skeptical noises, having heard this before. Lo and behold, the interview happens this morning. I wander in, am vaguely amusing and knowledgeable and voila! am hired 2 hours later.
Looks like a better financial and commuting decision and they're not completely crazy, or so my friend who knows the manager says. Plus for 6 months, I can apparently endure almost anything.
I put in my 2 weeks today so only 10+ more days of hell commute and insane job.
Catherine does happy dance of contracting joy! :-D

out at the lake using free wireless from a nearby neighbors house.
recording lake noises with my portable recorder for an ambient piece later.

I will send you a link if and when I finish that song. I got involved in another
band "Damnation Allies" (just me and Dace from georgia), so we are going to
write some more songs together just for kicks.
