Been quite the week. Between the thunderstorms and mild insomnia, headaches in various degrees of intensity have been galloping through my head on an almost daily basis. The weather is so bad that Heart of the Beast's Mayday Parade got postponed until next week, which is sad on the one hand, but better for me since today's migraine was what is known in our household as an "eyeball-melter" (read: startlingly unpleasant, with upchucking) and I wouldn't have made it down there anyway. We did have a lovely brunch with friends though, once I got the pain and queasiness under control. And I'm just about done with a guest blog interview for writer Tracy Morris' blog. Tracy runs an excellent interview series and writes good stories so I recommend checking out both her blog and her work.
Apart from that, I caught The Avengers with mr-bad-example on Friday night and it was a really good time. I'm not a love-everything-he-does Joss Whedon fan, but I think this is definitely one of his hits.
Now to go try and get a few more things done before Once Upon a Time and Sherlock Holmes.
