Odds and ends

Been an okay week so far, though I'm still pretty wiped out. I'm almost done making up time from our emergency Utah trip, so that's been good. I also managed to really focus and get going on a story to submit for Dagon Press' "Fantastic Libraries" anthology. I'm feeling optimistic about turning something in by 3/31. I'm also reading my first Candlewick Press book, that being the Steampunk anthology edited by Kelly Link and Gavin Grant and enjoying it immensely thus far. Plus, really pretty book. Bonus!
I did stop by True Colors Bookstore last night and they could use some love and support. They'll be open for one more week in hopes of selling off the bulk of the store including the fixtures. They need to sell off furniture and bookcases as well. Speaking from experience, closing a bookstore is an emotionally draining experience, especially if the expenses endanger the rest of your finances. Everything is marked down - please stop by and shop and send anyone you know who needs furniture their way.
