In the podcasting world, I was using Audacity on our MacBook prior to the hard drive crash and it worked fine. I installed it on the new drive and it's a disaster - I can't save, files are corrupted, it doesn't recognize LAME for export, etc. Is GarageBand the best viable alternative? Or is there something else Mac-compatible and user friendly that I can install?
