catherineldfGot a 5 star review at Kissed by Venus. This has got to be one of my favorite reviews thus far (and I've had some really nice ones :-). Among other things, reviewer Kate Genet says "This is a collection well worth reading. I read it right through, one after another, enjoying the vivid settings and the remarkable characters, but then I found that later I went back and re-read a couple, pondering over them and savouring them a second time." This is the kind of thing every writer longs to hear. I am so thrilled about this! :-D
And out on Goodreads, Gwendolyn McIntyre also gave it 5 stars and said "...this wonderful collection of short-stories is engrossing and delightful."
I'm so excited that people are enjoying this collection thus far. I was really wondering how it was going to go over when I pulled it together, in part because my erotica has generally gotten more buzz than my sf/f and historicals, so I didn't have much to go by. So far, so great.
In other good and related news, Wizard's Tower Press Bookstore (run by the awesome Cheryl Morgan and other fine folks) has just picked it up as new title, which means it's readily available as an ebook for folks in the UK.
Now to brave the snow and go to True Colors to hear local mystery author Linda Morganstein read from her latest.
