So far:
- 100 pages of Silver Moon revised. 250 or so more to go. Then the actual typing in of the changes. But it's moving.
- 1 residency application for Hedgebook, a women writer's program on the West Coast, pretty much complete, or will be once I make a few more copies. Next up, applying for a McKnight. I also cranked out an application for a Minnesota State Arts Board grant and got that in a week or so back. Anything to keep from gnawing other people's limbs off to get out of the day job
- Some work on random projects, just for the fun of it.
- Next up, proposal for sekrit project and dealing with publicity-related stuff for Hellebore and Rue.
- Had a nice massage yesterday, though it demonstrated how much of a mess my body is from constant stress. The therapist spent some time persuading me to try meditative breathing. Did it for a bit this morning and still hurt, but am quite focused. I think I'll be trying every day for a couple of weeks and we'll see how it goes.
- Checked out the Trylon Microcinema last night and am smitten. What a great little space for films! Also more or less conenient (by car) to the Riverview Wine Bar which makes a good chocolate mousse.
- Tonight, early anniversary dinner with my charming and talented wife. It's been a whole year of (thanks to Iowa) wedlock already.
And speaking of novels and revisions, Colleen Lindsay has a useful post up about word counts on the
Swivet.
