All lesbian wedding, all the time...

The new channel for the next couple of days or so.
We've been acquiring things: a large cooler, a heater for hot water (30 cups), a cake server thingie, biodegradable knives and forks, recycled paper cups. I outed myself at work today as a soon to be genuwine Iowa lesbian bride. There was general enthusiasm, which was lovely. My favorite remark came from someone on her second marriage, something to the effect of "Don't rush into anything." Well, it's been 15 years. I think we're as ready as we'll ever be. So far, I'm feeling pretty Zen. Hoping that sensation lasts through Sunday.
Cake is ordered, flowers are ordered, my girlfriend has an outfit - pretty good for 4 days to go. :-)
