New stories out...

Looks like Like a God's Kiss is out from Circlet Press. It includes stories by Steven Schwartz, Michael Jones, yours truly and a number of other folks. My (erotic) story is "Arachne," a retelling of the myth of the egotistical weaver and the Goddess Athena, with a fair amount of BDSM thrown in. I'm fond of this story and I gotta say it's great being in another Circlet antho (this is my 4th, I believe). Circlet published one of the first stories I ever wrote and Cecilia actually called me up to tell me, making for a completely unforgettable moment. :-D

And forthcoming REAL SOON NOW, Time Well Bent: Queer Alternate History, edited by the marvelous Connie Wilkins, from Lethe Press. This one will include stories by Simon Sheppard, Steve Berman, C.A. Gardner and others, including me. My (nonerotic) story in here is "Great Reckonings, Little Rooms" and it deals with the death of Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe, Shakespeare's sister, Judith and the authorship of the plays. More on that when it's out.
