Stuff and more stuff
Apr. 23rd, 2009 09:15 pmThe best I can do at present for International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day - my story "Spell, Book and Candle" in Khimairal Ink
I should mention that this same issue has a fine story by Martha Allard and a number of other good reads. Martha is part of our reading group for WisCon, "Nyarlathotep's Daughters: Many Sides of the Fantastic," which also includes Melodie Bolt and S.N. Arly. :-D
Other than that, there's been overtime and a very tense day job situation (big layoffs coming soon) plus more shoulder pain for me. And there have been wacky cell phone issues which have been draining and tiresome. :-(
We started a salsa and miscellaneous dance class so we're getting out to boogie once a week. I'm close to 25k on the werewolf novel and poking at a few other things. I'm doing some reading and outlining to prep for my Loft class and we caught "Rear Window" at the Riverview as part of the Hitchcock festival they're doing on Monday nights. Best line with new contemporary interpretation "What's General Motors got to worry about?"
So nothing dire, but feeling worn out and overwhelmed and ouchy. Hoping I rebound with the spring weather. At least Mayday is coming very soon and that always makes things better. Sooo looking forward to it this year.
