A day in the life...
Apr. 4th, 2006 09:07 pmOr something like it. Still not sure what I want to do with this. I've been posting my writing news to my Torquere Forum and my website so it seems redundant to do too much of that here.
Which leaves the writing process and my daily life. Fun. :-)
I'm still pretty dazed from the weekend. Elise Matthesen, Paula Fleming and I did an erotica reading on Saturday to an enthusiastic and packed house at Query Booksellers. I love independent bookstores like Query; I find more stuff in them that I'm dying to read than I ever track down at chain stores.
Sunday was another action-packed day between doing a Live Journal day for Torquere and working Pledge Drive at KFAI, our local fabulous volunteer-run radio station. I go down and answer phones for them a couple of times a year. I figure it's the least I can do in return for shaping my current musical tastes.
Which left the afternoon for attempting to get some work done on my new werewolf erotica story. It's coming along well, no pun intended :-), as are the several other stories currently in progress for my new collection.
In the meantime, I'm busy testing software at a large corporation and trying not to let it take over my life. It's not uncommon to work weekends and well into the night on this project so I'm needing to set some boundaries.
Now off to go work out and crash. Night, all. :-)
