Easter isn't one of the holidays that we celebrate, but we wish everyone who does a happy one.

Over at publisher Steve Berman's
blog, we have the official posting of the Hellebore and Rue print release. I'm so excited about this. We're going to have a release gathering at Gaylaxicon in Atlanta, then sundry other fun over the summer. Very psyched about this book. :-)

The Southern Theater in Minneapolis has gotten into some major financial problems, some of them inadvertent, some of them through dumb decision-making by the previous board. They need to raise a lot of money quickly and while I'm not wowed by the dumb parts, I do have to give them credit for putting on some really interesting shows. If they stay open, they'll be hosting this piece of awesomeness in June - Steampunk Dreams: Imaginary Technologies of the Victorian Era.There's not many places in town where you can pull together this kind of show and have it work and since I'm looking forward to this and have enjoyed other shows there, I'm plugging the fundraising drive. See the Southern Theater link for donation links.

Apart from this, as I've said elsewhere, I really enjoyed John Woo's wuxia
Reign of Assassins starring Michelle Yeoh, though admittedly I enjoy anything with Michelle Yeoh in it. Wing Chun is a perpetual favorite in our household. You can see some of the fight scenes here but check out the whole movie. It's worth it.
