For starters, R.I.P. Diana Wynne JonesGeraldine Ferraro and Elizabeth Taylor. I've read some of Jones' stories, made campaign calls for Ferraro and admired some of Taylor's acting and all of her advocacy. They shall be missed.

On the Catherine front, my back is finally on the mend, though the all day project kick-off for the new gig set me back a bit. The new project looks intensely interesting but will require a significant adjustment from what I've been doing on both technological and soft skills fronts. Yay, more adaptation. But glad I think I can do it, if that makes sense.

Today, I'm drinking chai and pulling together workshop proposals for The Loft Literary Center and poking at my novel query before we go to Tanpopo and Murderess at
Theater Unbound tonight. The latter is a series of monologues from the perspective of famous women known for their bloodthirsty acts. Should be fun.
Tomorrow, I'm off to see Sucker Punch with
mr_bad_example. Reviews and snark to follow.

Oh, and I'm apparently going to be at Des Moine Pride in June doing authorial things. Details are being worked out.

Didn't see much about her but did Tweet it since Hellsmouth Press had a decent writeup.
