Mid-week update
Oct. 27th, 2010 08:26 pmNot alas, filled with joie de vivre. Day job situation continues to go downhill, with occasional plateaus. My hip hurts and I'm tired and out of sorts. Sigh.
I do however, expect to be posting that Hellebore and Rue is out in the next week or two here. Entering revisions to Silver Moon are continuing apace. I'm aiming for being done at the end of the month. And I'm in discussions about a possible new novel, unrelated to Moon, so we'll see how that goes.
Other than that, we caught Secretariat last weekend and found it to be a decent horse racing movie. The horse(s) they've got playing the great horse himself do look like him and the racing scenes are fun. It's light on character development when compared to Seabiscuit, but it did remind me of why I wanted to be a racehorse trainer until I was about 15 or so. This weekend is Hardcover Theater's Halloween production, which should be fun. The thought of what Hardcover can do with Lovecraft makes my head spin. We're also hoping to make to Carnetheria, Barebones Theater's outdoor puppet extravaganza, weather permitting. And maybe Red. 'Cos you know, Helen Mirren and all.
So there will be visiting friends and socializing and good things. I'm really looking forward to it.
