Darling Catherine -- well, I went over to Lacuna (located right next to The Gap; so I picked up coupla t-shirts!), read your charming tale about Celeste and Delahaye, and TRIED to leave you a comment there.

However, between this BBerry's limitations and Blogger's security controls, the four closly-reasoned-yet-pithy paragraphs (trust me!) disappeared somehow...

It was, summing up, a very good read. (If they make it into a movie, maybe you could get Johnny Depp to play Delahaye?! He's got good French, supposedly...)

I'll do you a more elaborate review for Part Two, okay?

Cath -- when they eventually get it on (i.e. fuck), you've gotta call it "wenching" because (1) authentic pirate argot, and (2) they're TWO wenches wenching...opportunities like that DO NOT come along every day!

A great story, would really like to read a full length novel featuring these characters even if this tale does remind me of Cut Throat Island. Was onlt one point where the way language was employed threw me out of the period the story was set.
