Plug for upcoming Broad Universe reading....

Next Saturday (the 3rd), Kathy Sullivan, Anna Waltz, Lyda Morehouse, S.N. Arly and I will be doing a Broad Universe Rapidfire Reading at the fun-filled local convention, MarsCon. The reading will take place from 1-2 in the R(e)ad Mars Room at the Holiday Inn Select in scenic and lovely Bloomington, a mere stone's throw away from Mall of America. MarsCon is lots of fun, with a little something for everyone.
The BU readings are also a good time - you get to hear a bunch of authors reading snippets of their work so it's a great opportunity to be introduced to authors you might want to check out.

If you can swing it, I'd say go for it; I think this is probably the most fun con of the local ones. It's a more manageable size than Convergence and they get a good mix of writers and media fans and gamers and anime so it's more balanced than some of the others. No one gets left out, and my memory of the belly-dancing Klingons a few years back will be with me for awhile. Besides, if you show up, we can hang out. :-)))
