in IT land. The last of my colleagues left today so I'll be playing Survivor for the next while. Feeling kind of translucent around the edges...
In other news, looks like 'Crave' will be out in mid to late March. Huzzah!!!
I'm working on scheduling readings at various conventions - Saints and Sinners, WisCon, hopefully Gaylaxicon and/or Charis in Atlanta. Next up - need to talk to local bookstores. Amazon's a go for sure but I need to give them a date. More news on that when I have it.
Working on new stories very, very slowly. The whole day job debacle is slowing me down but I'm hoping to get cranking on things this weekend.
Spent last weekend having a jolly time at the Women's Prison Book Project benefit breakfast with lovely friends and their equally lovely small child. Apparently I struck him as the kind of adult who's willing to get covered in multi-colored chalk wielded by a two year old but between me and his dad, the attempt was foiled. :-) Then it was off to the fun and fab 24 hour play project benefit for Theater Unbound, the local women's theater company. 3 of the plays (written and staged in 24 hours) were worth watching this year, so much better than last year. Plus I got to attend with the sort of folks who like this sort of thing. All good.
This weekend, we're off to Hardcover Theater's fourth and final episode of 'London After Midnight'. LAM is a hilarious series of short productions based on Victorian penny dreadfuls. There's Varney the Vampire, the Beetle, Professor Moriarity and of course, Queen Victoria and Robert Peel. Good times to be had...
