because somebody had to be keeping Orson Scott Card and John Wright company in my "We don't like your kind" box.
Flash Fiction Online  is the market in question - apparently a nicely drawn ad of two women (see below) soliciting stories for a new LGBTQ issue of Crossed Genres ezine is way too scary and full of the Gay or in this case, the Lesbian/Bi, to run. Must be elbow sex. :-(((

At any rate, kudos to Crossed Genres for coming up with the concept in the first place, publicizing it and making this sort of B.S. public.

Sorry if I was unclear - I was being facetious. I think the placement of her head is problematic, from an anatomical perspective, but I don't think it was intentional or that there is an in-picture explanation for it. I do like the picture very much otherwise (particularly the full version) but I find that detail jarring.

Oh I figured you were being facetious. But actually the thin ad does kind of make her look like her head's not on straight, doesn't it? ;) I think you're right that it is slightly misplaced, anatomically speaking, even when you see the entire picture.

Yeah, her head is over a bit too far. But the picture's so darn compelling that instead of going "huh, minor anatomical mistake" my brain starts crafting a weird narrative explanation that lets it keep exploring the world of the picture. Even moreso when I see the whole thing.
