Achy (arms, head, car accident knee) and tired but at least it was one productive week getting here. The tally:
Canning - 5 jars of spaghetti sauce
2 trays of drying herbs (basil and parsley) from the farmer's market
One herstorical pirate short story completed and out the door on schedule.
Brought up the subject of Atlanta at day job and it was favorably received, though nothing's definite yet.
And cool new writing process discovery - I'm really liking writing longhand all of a sudden. I've got a zillion pages of novel and new story to input this weekend because I've been jotting down things in spare moments. I've never been a write every day kind of writer but it looks like that might be changing. No one told me it would be fun. :-)
More later - off to go do odds and ends.

I'm finding that longhand is working better for me now, too. It's rougher than what I was doing on the keyboard, because there's less self-editing happening while I get it down, but it feels good, and I'm not obsessively checking my word-count while I'm doing it.

Good points!
I think it's also helpful if you're already on the computer all day. I'm finding it easier to concentrate on writing if I'm not always zipping off to do more bloggy or outreach related task.
