catherineldfStill recovering from CONvergence (and probably will be for another few days). Since it's the biggest convention I go to, I'm always a little cranky when I first get there. Getting more reclusive in my old age, I guess. But it's quite well-run and once I settle in, I start having a good time. My panels and readings went reasonably well, and I acquired a spiffy space travel themed quilt in the silent auction, so that's all good. Got to chat with thadeus and hang out with mr-bad-example, among others, which was even better. Saw a few folks I hadn't seen in a while and got to talk to some others I don't know very well. Big thumbs up all around!
Spent most of yesterday trying to get things done for various deadlines. All 6 stories that I'm currently working on are now over 1000 words and several are over 2000 words - about 4000 words written yesterday as a matter of fact. Hopefully, there's light at the end of the deadline tunnel. :-)
