catherineldfOr at least from blowing this month's budget. I don't really want a book by Orson Scott Card, truely and I do really, really want to see this auction get to the point where he gets the Thank-you note. So pop on out there and outbid me. Then tell other people so they outbid you.

In other news unrelated to the auction, my trip to Phoenix for the Golden Crown Literary Conference and Awards is getting interesting. First I volunteered to do a newbie editor panel. Then I noticed no one had signed up for the erotica panel so I signed up for that. Then I got asked to do a coffee chat first thing in the A.M. with an author I do not know; they promised coffee and breakfast so I said yes to that too. Today, I got asked to be an award presenter on Saturday night. All I can say is it's a good thing I bought femme pretties last weekend or I'd be having a clothing/jewelry panic. I also hope they like me at this conference since I'll be nearly inescapable. :-)
