Polly and the Pirates!

I got the first volume of Ted Naifeh's "Polly and the Pirates" at DreamHaven on Monday night. I'm finding that I like it as much as his Courtney Crumrin books. This time the main character is a prim young woman who finds out that her mother was the famed Pirate Queen--and Mom's old crew wants her as the new captain.
Oodles and oodles of fun. Heartily recommended for winter survival in these parts.
