What I did this weekend

I FINISHED A DRAFT OF MY NOVEL! Specifically, I finished my first outlined beginning to end sciene fiction more or less erotica romance novel, as opposed to anything else I'm working on. The plan is that this will be the first Emily L. Byrne (AKA Other Me) novel/ Right now, it's clocking in at 66k words, but I expect to add a few thousand words on rewrites. The original  plan was that this would be the first of my books with a new publisher, but we were unable to agree on contract terms, sooo I'm thinking that this may be an indie published book since I think it's time I learned the ropes. I've found cover art I like so next up I need to pay for that, look into getting the beast edited and then figure out formatting. Whee! 2014 promises to be a lively year. And for those wondering, I'm going back to the werewolves as well as to a nonfiction proposal, several short stories and the other novels in progress and proposed.
