Wrapping up the weekend

catherineldfGot my car repaired just in time for Jana's truck to start making funny noises. Whee.
We'll find out what's up this week.
Otherwise, the weekend was mellow. We spent last night watching "Jack and Diane," which was plot-free and full of symbolic lycanthropy. We ended up watching it at 1.5 speed to get through the deadly slow pacing. Disappointing, considering how few female werewolf, symbolic or otherwise, movies there are. "Pitch Perfect" was our follow up and that was at least fun in spots.
Today was spent writing 1000 words on new work and puttering. It was nice to have some down time this weekend, especially since the week ahead is likely to involve automotive "fun" and car sharing.
