Seeing as I hadn't weighed in yet. Hey, I'm opposed, for those wondering. Here's a good piece about Congress' deliberate ignorance regarding the Internet - "Dear Congress, It's No Longer Okay to Not Know How the Internet Works." I particularly liked the part about Steve King (R., IA) surfing the web during Sheila Jackson's speech. This is the same Congressman of whom Stephen Colbert once said, "It's hard to imagine any woman having Steve King on purpose" with regard to his opposition to funding birth control. Cause, you know, women are chattel and certainly not worth listening to. Truer words and all that. Jan. 18th is the webstrike against SOPA. Follow the link to get more information and contact your representatives. If you use the Internet, this will impact you in lots of not fun ways so this would be the time to make your voice heard.
