I'm having a bit of post-book completion malaise, exacerbated by an exciting series of migraines and a sprained ankle that's just not healing well. Jana's out of town for a few days on her annual book binding vacation so I'm trying to get caught up. One of the less fun aspects of writing regularly while working fulltime is that a lot of things slide. Cleaning for one. Filing. Reading other people's stories and books. So I'm beginning to get caught up before plunging back into the cyberpunk novel I more or less promised someone this year (there'll be a "Silver Moon" announcement soon - I'm awaiting some details :-). So far that's involved some cleaning, epic amounts of laundry, a haircut and car tuneup, lunch with a friend and the kickoff of the annual canning extravaganza. Today, there'll be more organizational tasks, more cleaning and an expedition to see "Yarrrh!: The Pirate Musical" at the Fringe. In addition, it sounds like my mom will be moving out here soon (which I have mixed emotions about, but so it goes) so I need to do some prep stuff on that front.

Now to go excavate the dining room table.
