Update and sundries

It has been what might be termed a full week, as are all of mine lately. Tuesday, I took Mom over to the hospital to discover that she has not one but two stress fractures, plus tendon damage. All of it is healing and as long as she stays off it, they are optimistic, but still. Other hospital completely missed it, so at least I know that getting her out her was the right decision. Still juggling movers, and stuff, and weird, disoriented calls, but otherwise, it's going as well as one can expect, I suppose. I'm very tired and very stressed still, but hoping to catch up at bit on sleep and writing this weekend. With more juggling, of course.

I did get in some writing time this week, and getting more traction on both the sfnal novel and the werewolf novel. I'm hoping to get both over the 25k word mark this week. I've also got one short interview done (for my Contemporary Authors entry), one almost done for my friend Warren Rochelle's blog, and one of two, possibly three, linked guest posts for SF Signal started. And I picked up a second book club appearance for the end of October. This is the local lesfic book club and I'm not sure if it's open, so let me know if you want to attend and I'll ask them.
