Saturday, we tape our KFAI International Women's Day Show on Women in SF/F and Saturday afternoon, I get to chat with Jim Freund about my upcoming interview/reading on his WBAI show The Hour of the Wolf. If all goes well, we'll be recording that one live on the morning of 3/20 when I'm in NYC. Then Sunday, it's a minifest of women in theater. We're catching Theater Unbound's Girl Shorts, a festival of short plays by women playwrights, then Sunday night, it's off to Red Resurrected, a reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood by Isabel Nelson, at the Illusion Theater.
Otherwise, it's been toil, then crawling home to write. Day jobbery unfortunately caused me to miss Michael Merriam's reading on Wednesday, but I've been managing to get a lot of writing done despite the hours. Hoping to get a submission out the door in the next couple of days. And then another. And then more novel writing. Getting back in the authorial saddle again feels good.
